From a press release:
Valet Gourmet’s first annual Driving with a Cause
Valet Gourmet is making it easier than ever to help ease hunger in Western North Carolina. Asheville’s premier restaurant delivery service in collaboration with MANNA FoodBank is launching the first annual “Valet Gourmet Food Drive” and customers will be able to donate food items while receiving deliveries from their favorite local restaurants.
Starting this Monday, Dec. 15 – Tuesday, Dec. 30, Valet Gourmet is coordinating the collection of dry and canned goods to be donated within the community through MANNA FoodBank. Any Valet Gourmet customer can donate items for the food drive by passing those items directly to their delivery driver when they receive their order. Valet Gourmet’s company purpose is to “Create a Working Environment that Inspires World Class Customer Service.”
“I feel there is no better way to create a positive work environment than to facilitate support within the community for those in need. We are incredibly excited at the opportunity to use our food delivery service as an outlet to improve our corner of the world,” said Nick Barr, manager of Valet Gourmet.
Just visit www.ValetGourmet.com to support the cause. Valet Gourmet’s website makes it effortless to order online and, if you’re the type that responds more to the personal touch, they have a friendly staff waiting to take your order over the phone.
