Waylon Wood’s “Letters and Notes Found on the Windshield at the Piggly Wiggly Parking Lot” at 35below

Letters and Notes Found on the Windshield at the Piggly Wiggly Parking Lot, a play by local playwright Waylon Wood, will have its North Carolina premier at 35below on Friday, May 8.

In a small town in the Florida Panhandle, a series of correspondence has been found between two people: she works at Piggly Wiggly, he is a plumber. This North Carolina Premiere of Letters and Notes Found on the Windshield at the Piggly Wiggly Parking Lot tells the story of their lives, their town, and their love – with the added deliciousness of unearthing someone else’s private letters. Letters and Notes Found on the Windshield at the Piggly Wiggly Parking Lot is written and directed by local playwright Waylon Wood and will be performed May 8-24, 2015 with performances Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 pm and Sunday afternoons at 2:30 pm.  All tickets are $15.00 and are available online at www.ashevilletheatre.org, by phone at 828-254-1320 or in person at the ACT Box Office.
