WHIST holds first anniversary celebration in West Asheville

From a press release:

WHIST of  West Asheville will hold its first anniversary party on Friday, Oct. 10, from 5-8 p.m at its 428A Haywood Road store.

“We’ll have Bellinis, beer and little bites for all! We’ll also have special giveaways and other treats to add to the festivities,” say the organizers. “It’s been a delight for us to meet so many new friends and to be welcomed so warmly into the West Asheville community. It was a fantastic year and we look forward to many more years of fun and frolic!”

Seltzer Goods will be the guests of honor at the party. The Seltzer team recently relocated their design studio from Brooklyn to Asheville. Come meet the faces behind the 7 Year Pen, Edamame and Edapapa items, the Awesome Sauce tote bag, as well as dozens of witty greeting cards!

Coinciding with the First Anniversary celebration will be a new exhibit within the shop. “The year behind us: a vintage photographic look at superior posteriors” will be on view from Oct. 1 – Nov. 10.
