In its eight years of existence the White Horse Black Mountain has created a welcoming, special space at the heart of town for hearing good music and meeting good friends. It also has a well-earned a reputation as a business that gives back to the community, and in that spirit the venue will treat Black Mountain to a free Christmas Eve program on Saturday, December 24 at 7 p.m.
The White Horse Christmas Eve show has become a beloved annual tradition hosted by owner and co-manager Bob Hinkle, who will be joined by popular Louisiana-born guitar slinger, singer, and all round entertainer Marcel Anton and other surprise special guests. To ensure that everyone leaves feeling the holiday spirit, the artists will also lead the audience in a group carol singalong finale.
