WLOS: Unanswered questions surround disappearance of Asheville women, AC-T: Candlelight vigil held on Sunday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Friday brought closure to to the families of two missing Asheville women.

Both of their bodies have now been recovered from the French Broad River.

Police will not say how Alexandra King and Tatianna Diz died. Police found Diz’s body Friday morning. Searchers recovered King’s body Thursday afternoon. They had been missing for a week-and-a-half.

Friends and family members are making sure light continues to shine on this couple, this young pair who glowed, whose enthusiasm and energy lit up classrooms and lives.
