A hit-and-run accident in West Asheville is caught on video. Security cameras captured an SUV hitting a man on a moped on Haywood Rd. on Friday. The rider of the moped rolled off the bike and ran onto the sidewalk. The driver of the SUV took off. Asheville police say the moped rider was not seriously injured. APD says they have identified the driver of the SUV and they are investigating.
