“We are always excited to present local talent that is making a national splash,” remarked Laura Boosinger, Executive Director of the Madison County Arts Council. Zoe & Cloyd spring from deep roots in American music. Founding members of the acclaimed Americana trio, Red June and long-time veterans of the Asheville, NC music scene, Natalya Zoe Weinstein and John Cloyd Miller shifted gears to their duet project after the birth of their daughter in early 2015. Their debut recording, Equinox, released in April 2015, features original and traditional repertoire spanning bluegrass, old-time and folk and showcases the elegant simplicity of two instruments and two voices. The album met with high acclaim in publications such as No Depression and Bluegrass Unlimited, among others. Their rise has continued with a 1st place win at the Duo Contest at the prestigious FreshGrass Festival in North Adams, Massachusetts in September and a stellar performance at MerleFest in April of this year.

Zoe and Cloyd will make their debut performance at the Madison County Arts Center on Saturday, November 19 at 7:30. “This will be a chance to hear Zoe and Cloyd stirring harmonies up close and personal. Folks love the intimacy of our listening room,” stated Boosinger. Grab a friend, come on down to the little town on the river and Make Mine Marshall!
