Last week, we mentioned that downtown Asheville’s Table recently introduced fried-chicken dinners with all of the fixings for $20 a head as a Sunday evening special. We were told that the wording was a little, well … unclear … and some people got the impression that Table only serves chicken on Sundays. We’d like to offer some clarification. Table still features their ever-changing market-driven menu of seasonal modern-American selections on Sunday (and every other day except for Tuesday).
Table co-chef and owner Jacob Sessoms and his crew debuted the dinners this Sunday. Sessoms says the new menu supplement is a big hit with diners. One enthusiastic diner, he says, said his dinner was “awesome and a crazy lot of food.”
