Chai Pani makes a “commercial”

Ever wonder what the secret to Chai Pani‘s success is?

The restaurant staff and owners recently made a short film to attempt to explain why publications from Xpress to The New York Times have made mention of this small Indian street-food restaurant in downtown Asheville.

And we wondered why the staff giggled when they asked us if we’d taken a look at the “commercial” they sent to us when we went to pick up our tandoori lamb burgers. Oh, and the star of the quick flick? That’s Aria Irani, child of owners Meherwan and Molly. Read the story of the couple behind Chai Pani here

And, by the way … the lamb burgers are amazing.
