The Buncombe County Board of Commissioners meets this Tuesday beginning at 4:30 p.m., in its first regular session of the month.
Commissioners will hear a number of re-zoning requests, as well as a few proposed amendments to the zoning ordinance, including one that would add rooming houses and vacation rentals to the list of properties requiring conditional-use permits.
The meeting will also feature a report by Greg Israel, the county’s general services director, on energy-conservation efforts at the county level. It’s sure to be electrifying.
Commission meetings take place in the County Courthouse at 60 Court Plaza (Room 204) in downtown Asheville. Public comment is taken during the work session, which begins at 4 p.m.
