Third annual “Warm Clothing Drive” at the Christmas Jam today

It’s that time of year again. Got a spare coat, some gloves, or a hat? Bring it with you to the Christmas Jam this Sat.

Last year the warm clothing drive collected 140 bags of clothes – doubling the 70 from the first year. Can you help them double it again?

All clothes collected are picked up by Homewardbound and ABCCM. Grateful Bread was founded in 1997 in Atlanta to help feed people in the local parks. “Since moving to Asheville, we have had to scale back,” said James Carmody co-founder with his wife Kelly. “We do what we can, whenever we can, the warm clothing drive is our big event now.”

Look for them outside the US Celluar Center from 5-9pm on Dec. 15th.
