The forum will take place at the Reuter Center and a moderator will pose written questions submitted by the audience; each candidate will have 90 seconds to respond. Following the question and answer period, each candidate will make a closing statement. Afterwards, there will be a candidate a “meet and greet”  featuring many of the other candidates for elected office from 8 to 9:30 pm.The event is co-sponsored by the Leadership Asheville Forum, Children First, RiverLink and Mountain Xpress. The event is free and open to the public.

Before you comment

The comments section is here to provide a platform for civil dialogue on the issues we face together as a local community. Xpress is committed to offering this platform for all voices, but when the tone of the discussion gets nasty or strays off topic, we believe many people choose not to participate. Xpress editors are determined to moderate comments to ensure a constructive interchange is maintained. All comments judged not to be in keeping with the spirit of civil discourse will be removed and repeat violators will be banned. See here for our terms of service. Sure sure, elections blah blah blah. People want to know if Michael Muller regained his title in the Zombie Shuffle Sunday.

Just kidding. God Bless the League of Women Voters. They are one of the last bastions against a fascist takeover of America…

    But really. Michael? Trophy?
