I would like to resurrect an old word that I rarely hear these days to describe the “politics of the right.”
There doesn’t seem to be a right (e.g., to vote) or privilege (writ, or right to appeal/sue), nor protection/safety net (EPA, USDA, Social Security, Medicaid, etc.), they aren’t at odds with and willing to destroy or remove, regardless of the fact they might be victims of their own constructs.
They are, or have become, persistent, incessant, incoherent, unabashed, snide, cynical, indiscriminate, arbitrary, capricious, malevolent, malicious, vain, etc. — yes, all those and more, but more appropriately, they have become nefarious.
The only other word I can think of is anti-American (values).

“Ignorance” would describe politics of the right
I’m sure that a flurry of insults are on their way from the usual suspects, to prove you wrong.
Yeah, let’s get this over with:
LOL. DemoKKRat. ad hominem. Lulz. Blah, blah, blah.
Zzzzzzzzz.
Some of the recent letter writers must be partaking of some pretty wacky 420. They make no distinct points, pose no open questions, identify no specific problems, offer no solid new info. Has this section just become a rant-fest with no value add expected by the editors?
Well, keep smoking letter writers, maybe something worthwhile will eventually come to you.
“The only other word I can think of is anti-American (values).”
The writer should call for a House Un-American Activities Committee.
