I am writing this letter about the great job that the Montford Players do. They do a great job doing Shakespeare plays. Montfod park players is a must-see. The staff and actors are very down to earth and easy going. I would recommend to anyone who loves theater to check them out.
I can almost guarantee that you won't be disappointed in their performances. They do such a great job. The actors are all volunteers and have much talent.
I have never seen a play that they ever did that wasn't great. Keep up the great job.

Thanks for reading through to the end…
We share your inclination to get the whole story. For the past 25 years, Xpress has been committed to in-depth, balanced reporting about the greater Asheville area. We want everyone to have access to our stories. That’s a big part of why we've never charged for the paper or put up a paywall.
We’re pretty sure that you know journalism faces big challenges these days. Advertising no longer pays the whole cost. Media outlets around the country are asking their readers to chip in. Xpress needs help, too. We hope you’ll consider signing up to be a member of Xpress. For as little as $5 a month — the cost of a craft beer or kombucha — you can help keep local journalism strong. It only takes a moment.
I’d like to thank Chris for his nice comments. However I wish fans of the Montford Park Players didn’t have to resort to writing letters to the editor, to get the word out about what work quality we do at MPP. I’d be nice if our weekly “Arts” newspaper would actually review more than just food and music.
I’m a longtime member of MPP, who is involved with almost every aspect of the organization, I definitely feel slighted by the Mountain X’s lack of coverage or mention of what we do. In my personal opinion, MPP work as hard as any other artist or company, and put out as high a caliber products and any of our colleagues. Some valid recognition from credible sources, like the Mountain Xpress, would be appreciated any useful to our organization and artists.
