New possibilities

After 10 months of building a community-gathering place, the Center of Unlimited Possibilities has closed its doors at Westgate. There are many that share our feelings—of sadness for the things we’ll miss … thankfulness for having been a part of this beautiful vision … and optimism for what will come next!

We know that CUP will continue, because CUP is more than a name of a community center. It is a dream shared by many—a dream of community—of working together to make a difference, and a desire for a place were people can gather seven days a week to share their lives, talents, information, inspiration, resources and visions, and have fun in the process! Most importantly, CUP will always live on because at the core of each and every one of us are “unlimited possibilities” just waiting to be expressed.

There were many long hours spent in the creation of CUP and many beautiful friendships that resulted from the teamwork. It would be impossible to acknowledge everyone that donated their time, energy and money to this endeavor, but you know who you are—and know that you are greatly appreciated. We have had so many people express gratitude for their experiences at CUP—even if it was for a short period of time. It is a wonderful vision and still lives on in our hearts and souls. And now we will prepare for the next exciting and wonderful adventure! We’ll keep in touch.
