The change we need

I watch and listen to the public-television program Democracy Now. This is where information from around the world is presented to us.

The murdering that has gone on in the area of what was called the Holy Land—and I’m including all those countries and all those voices supporting these ill doings—shows the inability to learn is most present in humanity, and those claiming alliance with the word “power” are the most vicious.

Power. What a word. By itself, it’s just scratching on a paper. The result of that scratching means that the clear space that word was written on is now occupied. Occupied: a result of power. Meaning what? I can apply that word to weather (tornado, hurricane) or to Earth’s own life (earthquake, tsunami, a volcano). It fits; it never fails.

Humility and respect of that nature occur in one who experiences such wonder. But the people who are driven, misguided and deceived into following the false power of humans while blindly associating themselves with the doings and the happenings of planet Earth’s cadence have become toxic barriers to human growth. This failure is the clanging gong of now.

Power, the powerful: Apply these words to human doings. People, of all things, are the only living group of life-form claiming intelligence while continually elevating their daily behavior from behind the word power to stupendously stupid levels of failure.

Our planet (god) takes care of godly things. Mentally healthy humans are the stewards of this planet. Mentally ill people swagger with power by praying to dead things: Bullets, automatic guns, rockets, tanks, planes, bombs are wielded in growing numbers, and the disciples of this false power continue making these weapons.

People of all countries: Shed this deceit of power. Be alone with yourself and learn. Those who wish to be king—such as in the political hoax, the my-gun-is-bigger-than-your-gun entitlement program and the financial marketeers [who are] presently a sewer of imperialistic assault at your expense—have presented us with the knowledge that power leads to murder. And murder supported by any claim is done by the cowards of humanity. It is time to replace power with courage.
