The first home bout of the 2012 season for the Blue Ridge Rollergirls, and the first in their new venue at the Western Carolina Ag Center, drew a capacity crowd of 2,000 fans and saw the team split a double header. The joy of victory is muted with the departure of ‘Sugar Magmalya,’ who has been a valued player through most of the history of the team. She is moving to Nashville soon.
