Get to know Garage 34

Garage 34 is more than a store. It is a new way of thinking,” says the website for the recently-opened boutique. Located at 34 S. Lexington Ave. (just past French Broad Chocolate Lounge), the store has the feeling of a mini-Screen Door: Lots of cool stuff just waiting to be discovered. Unlike Screen Door, Garage 34 has less decor, more wearable art — including lots of clothing and handmade toys for kids. Artists include Twiggy, Yarnies, Dom Unique and many more. Open Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday 1-6 p.m.

Garage 34 is fantastic. It is a way to support our local artists and economy, and at the same time find amazing, creative, and very affordable items for gifts or to add to your own collection of goodness!
