AC-T: Brewgrass pulled a big out-of-town crowd

Asheville’s big Brewgrass craft beer festival on Sept. 20 was another hit, pulling about 3,500 fans, the vast majority of them from out of town, event founder Jimi Rentz said Monday.

An early check of festival attendance showed tickets sold in 32 states and 60 percent of buyers came from beyond Asheville, Rentz said.
