Asheville’s Albermarle Inn earns AAA’s ‘Four Diamond Award’ (again)

Built in 1907, the Albemarle Inn shows off more than its history in one of Asheville’s oldest neighborhoods — it has once again earned AAA’s “Four Diamond Award.” Here are the details:

The Albemarle Inn Receives AAA Four Diamond Award yet again!

Fabrizio and Rosemary Chiariello, owners of the Albemarle Inn in Asheville, have just received a Four Diamond Rating from the AAA Diamond Ratings System. This coveted award has now been bestowed upon the Inn for well over a decade, making them the only B&B in Asheville to have this distinction. With only 5.3% of the 29,000 approved and rated properties in the United States receiving Four Diamonds, the honor is something the Chiariellos take great pride in.

AAA has been evaluating hotels for their prestigious awards since 1976. Their Diamond rating system is one of the few appraisal systems that rely on physical on-site inspections. The full-time, professionally trained evaluators follow a set of rigorous guidelines — The Albemarle Inn was reviewed and scored on cleanliness, comfort, security and available services and amenities in order to receive its award. Each area is evaluated based on levels of competence, refinement and hospitality.

The Albemarle Inn, a magnificently restored 1907 Greek Revival mansion, is located in park-like grounds in the famed Grove Park district. With eleven elegant guest rooms, including a spacious two-room suite with enclosed sun porch, the Inn provides luxurious comfort in a quiet setting. Enjoy the peacefulness of the beautifully landscaped English Gardens from the veranda while being only minutes from downtown Asheville.
