Biltmore Property Group announces two new members to executive team
Timothy Finley has joined BPG as Senior Financial Advisor. Tim is past chairman and chief executive officer of Jos. A Bank Clothiers. During his 9 year tenure at Jos A Bank, the company more than tripled its retail locations and completed an Initial Public Offering. Additionally, Mr. Finley has served as President of Fred’s Inc., Castleberry Foods, and Otasco and was the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Cannon Mills. He has served on the board of directors of Cole National, Cannon Mills, Baker Shoes, Jos A Bank, Pic n Pay Shoes and Venture Stores. He was also a partner with Deloitte, Haskins and Sells. He holds a degree in business from Ohio University and has been a guest lecturer at leading universities throughout the United States.

Alan Kleinmaier has been named BPG’s Vice President of Development. With over thirty years of experience in commercial real estate and retail development, Alan brings to the table senior level experience in all phases of retail and mixed-use development. He was the co-founder, president and CEO of a national chain of more than 350 specialty franchised retail stores trading under the names Peanut Shack; Coffee, Tea & Thee; Candico; Candy Candy; Chez Chocolat and JoAnn’s Nut House. He served as president and CEO of Mariah, Inc., the largest condominium developer on Beech Mountain. He was also the co-developer for the first condominium conversion in Greensboro, NC, Kings Arms Condominium.
A Morehead scholar, Alan received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina and is a graduate of the UNC School of Business Young Executive Institute. He also holds a North Carolina Real Estate Broker’s license.
