Black Mountain short story contest deadline Jan. 16

Contest details:

The Friends of the Black Mountain Library will sponsor their annual Short Story Contest in January. Deadline for submission is 6 p.m. on Monday, January 15.

The winner will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, January 28 at 7 p.m. Stories must be typed (no electronic submissions accepted) with a maximum of 5000 words, and handed in at the Black Mountain Library. The winner will receive a cash prize of $100.
