Bladenboro Journal: Teen’s hanging death spurs march by NAACP

From the Bladenboro Journal:

The North Carolina chapter of the NAACP held a march Saturday in Bladenboro to call for a thorough federal investigation of a black teen whose death was ruled a suicide.

Federal officials have said they are reviewing the investigation of the death of 17-year-old Lennon Lacy, whose body was found hanging from a swing set at a trailer park in August.

Under a perfectly clear, sunny sky on Saturday, supporters and the family of Lennon Lacy led a 1.2-mile march to draw attention to the tragic event.
