DOWNTOWN — A new year is time for re-examination. A post-holiday lull has settled over the city. After a season of excess and celebration, Asheville seems to be re-focusing to find that things continue to change and there is still work to be done. New police chief. New Civic Center. Same old streets.
For the first Argus post of 2012: A sort of base-line. Aggregated photos of the city itself. These are the buildings and the streets and the gutters and the dark alleys through which we’ll move toward 2013.
