Accordion Time Machine holds auditions, May 14
Open Auditions for Accordion Time Machine, Anam Cara’s experimental theatre ensemble
Wednesday, May 14th 8:30-10:30pm and Sunday, May 18th 6:30-8:30pm

Auditions will be held in 15 minute time slots Wed 5/14 8:30-10:30pm and Sun 5/18 6:30-8:30pm. Please email kristen@anamcaratheatre.org to sign up and for more info.
To Audition: Perform a 2-5 minutes solo piece about your life. This can be abstract, literal, silent, noisy, it can be about a specific aspect of your life or a broad sweeping look at who you are.
Accordion Time Machine rehearses once a week on Wednesday evenings and performs once every two months at Toy Boat Community Art Space (www.toyboatcommunityartspace.com). We create original material using a collaborative, workshop process. The group is rooted in the non-illusory theatre aesthetic of the Neo-Futurists of New York and Chicago (www.nyneofuturists.org/about). We use improv tools, writing exercises, storytelling, and our unique brains to create personal, honest, thought provoking, silly, and absurd performances. All cast members are involved in writing, editing, directing, and performing.
