Haywood County Master Gardeners accepting orders for 2015 plant sale

Order forms are now available for the Haywood County Master Gardner Association’s 2015 Plant Sale.  Contact the NC Extension Cooperative office at 828-456-3575 for an order form to be mailed or emailed or request the form via email to erin_freeman@ncsu.org or mgarticles@charter.net.

Not only are edibles available (varieties each of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and asparagus) but this year the Association will offer pollinator plants to attract visiting Monarchs and Honeybees which are both endangered or under threat in Western North Carolina. Swamp Milkweed, critical to the Monarch, will be available for purchase without preordering on Saturday, April 11th, the day of plant pick up at the Cooperative Extension Service located at 589 Raccoon Road in Waynesville.

Order forms must be returned by March 13th with payment enclosed.
