WHAT: We need a variety of skilled and unskilled volunteers who can help remove old play set and install new playground equipment; install benches and perform some general landscaping; repair decking on building and improve access to play area; improve parking lot and play area lighting. Donations of materials and support also needed.

WHERE: CARING for Children, 50 Reddick Road, Asheville
WHY: In 2015, CARING for Children will celebrate 40 years of serving the community through caring for abused and neglected children and supporting WNC families in crisis. Now they need your help.
CARING for Children’s Reddick Road office is home to their ACE Mental Health program and Foster Care offices which serves hundreds of hurting children and families each year. The creation of a safe playground area will not only offer our children a fun place to play, but also serve as a therapeutic place for these troubled kids to release their hurt and fears to begin healing.
