Organizers of the “Talking Dirty” event, held every Wednesday at Rose’s Garden Shop in conjunction with the Asheville School of Wine, have announced that the weekly meeting will be on hiatus for the summer season.
The hour-long event, which Xpress detailed in a January 19 article, provides an opportunity for attendees to discuss the importance of good soil and growing techniques for gardeners and vintners alike. The meetings also feature a free glass of wine and wine-tasting opportunities, as well as collaborative discussions led by Asheville School of Wine geologist Joe Scott and Rose’s shop owner Rose Bartlett, among others.
“Talking Dirty” will return to its weekly schedule with the cooler weather this fall. In the meantime, attendees are advised to check the Rose’s Garden Shop and Metro Wines Facebook pages and online calendars for updates on summer events.
