Buncombe County Government offices will be closed on Monday, May 31, for Memorial Day. Buncombe County and the City of Asheville will hold a virtual Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 31, at 11 a.m., that will air on the City’s YouTube channel. Click here for more details.
Solid Waste
-The Landfill and Transfer Station will be closed on Monday, May 31.
-Waste Pro will be closed on Monday, May 31. Monday collections will occur on Tuesday, June 1, Tuesday collections on Wednesday, and so on with Friday collections on Saturday.Recreation Services

-All Buncombe County parks are open regular hours. Most Buncombe County outdoor pools open on Saturday, May 29.Libraries

Emergency Services
-EMS and 911 services remain open. Emergency Services’ administration office will be closed.
