(December 8, 2021) – The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate a missing man from the Alexander area of Buncombe County.
John Berryhill, age 60, is approximately 5’ 11” and 170 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. Mr. Berryhill was last seen on December 4 around 2 a.m. at a residence in Black Mountain. He left the residence possibly headed toward his residence in Alexander. He is driving a green 1998 Ford Astro van with some front end damage NC, the license plate on the vehicle is FDF-7216.
Mr. Berryhill recently had a work accident that may have caused some cognitive impairment. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office at (828) 250-6670.
