Summer reading is back at the Haywood County Public Library! Beginning June 1st, stop by any branch to sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge. This year’s theme is All Together Now, a celebration of friendship, unity, and cooperation. Separate adult and youth reading challenges means that the entire family can enjoy summer reading at the library! Participants will receive a bag filled with suggested reading lists, challenge activity sheets, and other goodies at sign up.
Our librarians will be hosting fun and educational programs for all ages each week. Program topics include gardening workshops, cooking demonstrations, special children’s storytimes, arts and crafts activities, and live animal shows. Take & Make kits for select programs will also be available throughout the summer at all HCPL locations while supplies last.Please note that some programs require registration.
