Bob Lewis Ballpark in Candler providing free hot sandwiches Sunday, Oct. 6, starting at noon

From Bob Lewis Ballpark:

The Enka Youth Sports Organization, owner and operator of the Bob Lewis Ballpark, will distribute free hot sandwiches at our upper fields complex at 21 Walk Off Way in Candler, NC, on Sunday, Oct. 6, from 12:00 noon until 5 p.m., or until supplies last. Hot food, including chicken sandwiches, hot dogs and hamburgers will be cooked by our concessions team and volunteers, and delivered directly to vehicles in a drive-up/drive-through process. Snack items may also be included as available.

Bob Lewis Ballpark is located off of Jacob Holm Way, which is accessible from Sand Hill Road in Candler. Residents should proceed past the lower fields and follow signs to the upper fields where the vehicle line will begin.

Food is available on a first-come/first-served basis, and we hope to serve as many of our community members as possible. Please note that there are no available restroom facilities at Bob Lewis Ballpark as water has not been restored to the complex.
