No fruitcake jokes here: This year, Earth Fare is offering all-natural fruitcake for the holidays — and for a good cause. Women Helping Other Women has cooked up a plan to provide aid to women in need. The group has developed a holiday cake that Earth Fare Grocery Category Manager Randy Talley says is different from the usual butt of holiday jokes. “The first ingredient in these cakes is fruit, and there’s a lot of it packed in there. The cakes are also all-natural, fresh, homemade and truly delicious.” Proceeds from the fruitcake sales will be donated to local women’s shelters. For more information, call 281-4800 or visit www.earthfare.com.
