A model of eclectica
• Who she is: Joanna Walsh, photographed at Sky People Gallery’s Altars of Alternative Religions exhibit.
• What she’s wearing: Long coat purchased in Annapolis, Md., more than a decade ago; a dress from a former shop on Lexington Avenue (located in the space now occupied by Natural Home); bag from a silent auction to benefit Woman Song; beaded lariat necklace.
• Why we love it: Years of careful collecting have gone into Joanna’s ensemble — and into her personal style. Here, she successfully mixes ethnic prints in similar rich, wintery shades for a pulled-together Boho look. Glimmering beads and a mirror-work bag adds shine, while a black turtleneck and beret anchor this plethora of patterns.
