We’re still a month out from the official release of The Secret B-Sides Flowers & Chocolate album. (Saturday, April 16 is that date: mark it on your calendar.) In the meantime, get a preview of the album at the Flowers & Chocolate Listening Party at (appropriately) the French Broad Chocolate Lounge (10 S. Lexington Ave.) on Friday, March 18, 6-8 p.m. Free.
According to the band, the listening party “will be an opportunity to get that sneak peek at the unmastered, raw, recordings before we send them off for mastering and manufacturing. So, these are the real ‘secret’ Secret B-Sides sounds, played on the Chocolate Lounge stereo system.” And, bonus: “Everyone who comes to the Listening Party, March 18 at the French Broad Chocolate Lounge will get a free MP3 sampler until the samplers run out.”
