Local fashion designer Kristina Benshoff of Provocation Designs has been selected to present her work at New York’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (Feb. 9-16).
Benshoff will participate in PLITZS, a fashion marketing organization, which “offers a select few talented emerging designers [an] opportunity to [affordably] showcase their collections in a professionally produced presentation during the week of New York Fashion Week without breaking their annual budget.” The event is held Friday and Saturday, Feb. 10 and 11 at the Warwick Hotel and features 36 designers in six showcases. See Benshoff’s mention here.
Benshoff, who studied at Savannah College of Art & Design and is now based in the Wedge Building, will present her most recent collection, “Ophelia’s Soliloquey,” on Saturday. She debuted that collection at The Artery in August. Read the story here.
