All good things must come to an end, including the adventures of Hollywood stunt cat Mr. Puffball. The creation of Asheville-based author and illustrator Constance Lombardo takes his third and final bow in Escape from Castaway Island, which finds him pursuing his big breakthrough on such reality television shows as Feline Ninja Warrior, Celebrity Birthday Cake Wars and the titular adventure program. Lombardo’s books — which also include Stunt Cat to the Stars and Stunt Cat Across America — have drawn comparisons to such comedic, middle-grade series as Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Origami Yoda.
