The Sun Cans release video for “Somebody”

Somewhere between The Beatles and The Beach Boys, between doo-wop and early surf rock you’ll find local indie-folk duo The Sun Cans. The band is brothers Ethan and Micaiah Liner, Asheville natives who’ve been writing songs together for six years. “Since we were young, we’ve listened to The Beatles, The Monkees, The Grass Roots and other greats from the ’60s and ’70s, and our songwriting style is the proof,” says Micaiah in an email.

The Sun cans recently filmed a video for their feel-good song “Somebody” at Splurge Design in the River Arts District.
