AFD on scene of fatal fire in East Asheville
The Asheville Fire Department is reporting a structure fire, now under control, with a confirmed fatality. The address of the fire is 25 Mountain View Road in East Asheville. The victim was described, according to AFD officials, as a middle-aged white male, the only occupant of the home. More on this as information is available.
