Veteran producer Martin Bisi brings his music to town
Before playing a date at iconic Shea Stadium, Martin Bisi will perform at Asheville’s Static Age Records. If you aren’t familiar with Bisi’s music, you’ve definitely heard the Brooklyn-based engineer-producer’s work. Farmers graduate from Organic Growers School
Asheville, NC—On March 5th, Organic Growers School’s Farm Beginnings® Farmer Training program graduated its first “crop” of aspiring farmers! The graduation was hosted at the Organic Growers School offices and classroom located at the AB Tech Small Business Center on the Enka/Candler Campus. The Farm Beginnings® program, launched in October of 2015, consisted of 12 farm units and 24 individual farmers.

UNC Asheville hosts National Conference on Undergrad Research
The National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR), first held in 1987 at UNC Asheville, will return to its founding campus April 7-9 when more than 4,000 students and faculty from across the U.S. will present their research and share ideas. This 30th renewal of NCUR will mark the fifth time UNC Asheville has hosted the national conference, which has grown tenfold in size since its founding.

WNC Science Olympiad winners announced
