A C-T: Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville is open Saturday

The Blue Ridge Parkway so-called “commuter corridor,” the section that passes through the heart of Asheville, is open to vehicular traffic today, Satuday, Feb. 28.

THe parkway is open from Milepost 393 at the entrance to Brevard Road/NC 191/N.C. Arboretum, north through Asheville for about 11 miles, where it closed by gates just north of the entrance at Milepost 382 near U.S. 70.
