Saturday, March 26 2016, 4pm
Chapel of The Prodigal, 358 Texas Rd, Montreat, NC 28757

Aaron Price and friends will perform an Easter concert on Saturday, March 26 at 4PM.
It will take place at the Chapel Of The Prodigal on the campus of Montreat College.
The address of the chapel is 358 Texas Rd, Montreat, NC 28757.

Themes of reconciliation, rebirth, dedication and praise will be the focus as Mr Price guides this special performance of musical reflection. Special guests will include members of Asheville vocalists Shalene Hill and Joy Black.

The concert is sponsored by West Asheville Presbyterian Church, where Price has served as Music Director since 2003. 2016 marks the church’s Centennial!

Aaron has been a fixture in the WNC music community for years, and has performed at all venues in the area. He was founded Collapseable Recording Studio in 1999 and enjoys regular performances in and around Asheville with Wham Bam Bowie Band, The Zealots, Jeff Thompson and The Outliars, and Peggy Ratusz and Bygone Blues, to name a few. He also produces an annual benefit concert for Habitat for Humanity, which takes place at West Asheville Presbyterian Church during the holiday season.

Music offerings will include instrumental piano versions of traditional hymns, contemporary praise songs, and classical vocal pieces and old-time gospel music. Aaron was raised in the church and has a special affinity for church hymns. His specialty is improvising and extemporizing and reinventing these traditional worship staples.

In lieu of ticket sales, a love offering will be collected.
