Here is the full event release:

The Habitat ReStore at 31 Meadow Road will thank the community for its ongoing support by offering 25% off storewide from 9am until 6pm on Saturday, September 12th. All ReStore merchandise – including furniture, housewares, appliances, building materials, antiques and more – will be 25% percent off. 98.1 The River will be broadcasting live from 9-11am, and free hot dogs and soft drinks will be served between noon and 2pm.

Celebrating 25 years in business, Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity opened a retail store (Home Store) in 1990. The store was located on Biltmore Avenue until it moved to its current 31 Meadow Road location in 2003. After a significant renovation and expansion in 2011, the store was rebranded Habitat ReStore, the name used by most other Habitat affiliates around the country.

Ranked the #2 ReStore in the country in sales (out of 780+ stores), the Asheville Habitat ReStore was also recently voted #1 Used Furniture Store in WNC by readers of HYPERLINK “http://mountainx.com/guide/best-of-wnc/shopping/used-furniture-store/”Mountain Xpress for the second year in a row.

“The ReStore is a place where you can feel good about shopping and donating because proceeds from sales help support Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity’s building programs. Plus, we divert 1,625 tons of usable material from the landfill each year,” said general manager Scott Stetson.

This kind of sale only happens twice each year, so shop the Habitat ReStore on Saturday, September 12th from 9am until 6pm. Find a bargain and help build and repair more homes in Buncombe County – without even lifting a hammer!
