Roadkill Confidential is Sheila Callaghan’s quirky, comedic commentary on desensitization to violence in highly-mediated contemporary culture. The story follows Trevor, an artist whose creative work is commentary with catastrophic real-life consequences. Our narrator is a somewhat deranged FBI detective whose investigation of Trevor’s “projects” borders on obsession. Throw into the mix a film noir motif, a teenager dressed as a chicken thigh, and heaps of small half-dead animals with a highly infectious disease, and you have Roadkill Confidential, a theatrical experience unlike any other.

Rachel Thomas-Levy is the director of this stellar cast, featuring Meg Brunton, Ryan Madden, Grayson Morris, Michael Rose, and Mike Willey.

Anam Cara Theatre strives to provide the community with progressive, thought-provoking theatre that incorporates multiple art forms. Roadkill Confidential incorporates installation art, video projection, dance and choreographed movement. Exploring themes of violence in art, Anam Cara is pleased to bring you this exciting, hilarious and unique production.
