From the Animal Hospital of North Asheville July Newsletter:
Beginning on July 15th, Animal Hospital of North Asheville began opening earlier each morning Monday through Friday. Each Animal Hospital of North Asheville New Hoursweekday we are now open from 7:30 AM until 8:30 PM. Our Saturday and Sunday hours remain the same: Saturday we are open from 8:00 AM until 12 Noon and have Urgent Care available at 4:00 PM. Sunday Urgent Care is available at 4:00 PM also. Urgent care is only for Animal Hospital of North Asheville patients and clients. On very rare occasions it is necessary to cancel Urgent Care hours due to maintenance needs of the facility, so if a need arises for your pet, always call 828-253-3393 before coming for Urgent Care and listen to the recording to be sure that we will be open at 4:00 PM on a specific Saturday or Sunday. We do not check messages or answer the phone during Urgent Care hours, and there is no need for an appointment. Just arrive at 4:00 PM.
Urgent Care does cost more than care during our normal business hours as our expenses are greater, so if your pet’s condition does not need immediate attention, you may prefer to wait and make an appointment during our normal business hours. If your pet needs emergency care at a time that Animal Hospital of North Asheville is not open, then REACH will be open and can be reached by calling 828-665-4399.
