Announcement from the Arden Rotary Club:
Because of an incredible gift of around 2,000 stuffed animals from PetSmart to our club we are able to distribute, in a Covid safe environment, to these local organizations:
- Children First
- Sleep tight kids
- Caring for Children
- Steadfast house ABCCM
- Sharing House
- First WNC
- Edneyville Community Food Pantry
The list could possibly grow as donations come in.
We will be holding a drive through pickup, where a representative from each charity will be on site at Morningstar Storage, off of Long Shoals Road from 10:00-11:00am this Saturday, December 5th. While these toys are a blessing, too many of these organizations are still in desperate need of necessities like toilet paper, shampoo, cleaning supplies and feminine hygiene products which have run dangerously low because buying food is always the number one priority.
