Press release from Julyan Davis:

Internationally Acclaimed Artist, Julyan Davis, Raffles Original Painting to Fundraise for Poet Glenis Redmond’s Cancer Crisis.

Asheville, North Carolina-November 15, 2019

This is a story of how artists help each other in times of need. Internationally acclaimed artist, Julyan Davis, raffles one of his original paintings, aptly named Glen Falls, to fundraise for his friend and creative collaborator, poet Glenis Redmond during her cancer crisis.

This event will happen on November 15, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, at his gallery at Unit Z, 2004 Riverside Drive, Asheville, NC 28804. Julyan was inspired to help Glenis once he heard of her diagnosis: Stage 3, Multiple Myeloma, a cancer of blood and bone on July 3rd, 2019. Presently Glenis is unable to resume her poetic travels and duties as she undergoes treatment.

This painting is valued at $14,000. All proceeds will go to Glenis Redmond as she fights this battle. 500 raffle tickets are available at $30 each between now and November 15th when the winning ticket will be drawn.
