Asheville will host 16 local authors in the First Annual WNC AuthorFest on Saturday, April 13, 2016, from Noon-4pm. New York Times Bestselling Authors, Sarah Addison Allen and Megan Shepherd, along with Alexandra Duncan will headline the event.
The First Annual WNC AuthorFest will feature 16 local authors representing a vast selection of genres including fiction, teen fiction, art, sports, and children’s. Authors will be meeting fans and signing copies of their work. Sarah Addison Allen, author of First Frost, Garden Spells, among other best-selling titles, will be in-store from Noon until 1pm. Megan Shepherd, author of The Hunt, and Alexandra Duncan, author of Salvage, will be in-store from 2-4pm. All other authors will be participating for the duration of the event. Barnes & Noble Asheville Mall plans to host the event annually and with a positive response, may host the event semi-annually. The next WNC AuthorFest is tentatively planned for February. Local authors interested in participating can contact Nicole Lowery at CRM2347@bn.com.
