About Asheville Humane Society
For over 30 years Asheville Humane Society has been saving homeless Buncombe County animals. Today we operate both our own state-of-the-art Adoption and Education Center and the County’s only open door shelter where no local animal is ever turned away. We rescue, reunite, rehabilitate and re-home abandoned, abused, injured and lost animals. We provide education, training and support to keep pets in their homes. Asheville Humane Society has earned the highest rating of Four Stars from Charity Navigator, a designation achieved by only 25% of all charities nationwide.
Would you explain how you rehabilitate dogs that have attacked? There are so many pit bull attacks by pit bulls that were “rehabilitated” then killed a child or mutilated someone. Wouldn’t it be better for the public to euthanize after the first attack? Eventually, repeat attackers end up euthanized, but look at the unnecessary suffering by their innocent victims.
Just wondering Asheville Humane Society….Will the family of Joshua Phillip Strother be on that “1000 Day Journey” Whoops..maybe not, have you no conscience, no sense of decency? http://bit.ly/TxxF4L
FYI, I notified AHS about the above comments in case they would like to respond. Thanks for stopping by.
