Asheville Police and Mothers Against Drunk Driving host Evening of Remembrance

Press release from City of Asheville:

The Asheville Police Department, in coordination with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), will be conducting an Evening of Remembrance this Sunday, December 11th at 5:30pm. The Event will take place at the NC Justice Academy located at 3971 Chimney Rock Rd., Edneyville, NC 28727.

During this program, we will pay tribute and remember our local victims of impaired driving. Unfortunately, we have had several in our area to remember. We would like to invite the public to this event – especially those who may have been involved in these cases; as well as Law Enforcement, Fire Personnel, EMS, and Communicators.

For more information on this event, please contact Sgt. Ann Fowler, DWI Task Force Commander, at 1-828-251-4085.
